Introduction: Strengthening SRHR requires urgent, collaborative efforts and innovative strategies to reach everyone, especially underserved populations. This abstract showcases an innovative initiative in Iganga District, Uganda, which addresses significant challenges such as high rates of teenage pregnancies, maternal mortality, and unmet family planning needs. This initiative aligns with the ICFP 2025 theme, “Equity Through Action: Advancing SRHR for All,” by employing creative solutions to advance SRHR in the community.

Methods: Our innovative approach combines: a) Data-Driven Analysis: Using advanced quantitative analysis of district health data to identify trends and gaps. b) Community-Driven Insights: Gathering qualitative insights from focus group discussions to understand community needs and preferences. c) Narrative Interviews: Conducting in-depth interviews to capture personal stories and experiences. d) Participatory Surveys: Implementing community surveys with interactive elements to engage participants and gather actionable feedback.

Results: Our innovative program has achieved significant results, including:

  1. Enhanced Access to SRHR Services: Increased access to family planning services for over 1,200 young women and adolescents through mobile health clinics and community outreach.
  2. Active Community Engagement: Strengthened community engagement and participation in SRHR decision-making processes, with over 80% of participants reporting increased awareness and involvement.
  3. Robust Partnerships: Established strong partnerships between district health officials, community leaders, and local organizations, leading to more coordinated and effective SRHR interventions.

Conclusion: This presentation demonstrates the transformative potential of innovative, multi-sectoral approaches to improve SRHR outcomes in Iganga District. By sharing lessons learned and best practices, we aim to inspire policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders to adopt and scale similar initiatives in similar contexts. Our project exemplifies the ICFP 2025 theme by turning equity into action and creating lasting impact.
