Position Title: Sales Person / Cashier
Duty Station: Family Concepts Center – Enterprise Lab, Iganga
Reports to: Finance & Administration Assistant
Contract Type: Full‑time
1. ROLE PURPOSE
The Sales Person/Cashier supports the Enterprise Lab by ensuring smooth financial transactions, excellent customer service, and effective coordination of client orders. The role is central to Family Concepts Center’s (FCC) identity as a hospitality‑driven productivity sanctuary, ensuring that every client and incubatee experiences PERD hospitality—Presence, Exclusivity, Responsiveness, and Attention to Detail.
This position helps maintain order, accuracy, and a calm environment that enables high‑quality hours for clients and micro‑entrepreneurs.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Sales & Customer Service
- Receive clients, understand their needs, and guide them to appropriate Enterprise Lab services.
- Provide warm, calm, and professional customer service consistent with Family Concepts Center’s PERD philosophy.
- Promote Enterprise Lab services, including tailoring, laundry, ironing, and Rent‑a‑Station packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front‑desk environment.
B. Cashiering & Financial Management
- Record all sales transactions accurately in the sales register.
- Issue receipts for all payments.
- Maintain daily cash balances and submit end‑of‑day financial summaries.
- Ensure proper handling of station fees, commissions, and service payments.
- Support financial accountability for incubatee revenue and FCC commissions.
C. Enterprise Lab Coordination
- Receive client orders and assign them to incubatees using the job card system.
- Track job progress and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain order, workflow, and communication between clients and incubatees.
- Support the Enterprise Lab Supervisor in monitoring station usage.
D. Record‑Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of:
- Daily sales
- Job cards
- Station utilization
- Client orders
- Incubatee performance summaries
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
E. Hospitality & Environmental Support
- Uphold FCC’s hospitality standards at all times.
- Ensure the Enterprise Lab environment remains calm, clean, and conducive to productivity.
- Support clients and incubatees with responsive, detail‑oriented service.
3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Minimum: Diploma or Certificate in Business, Accounting, Sales, Customer Care, or related field.
- Experience in sales, cashiering, or customer service is an added advantage.
- Experience in a vocational, tailoring, or service environment is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy in financial transactions.
- Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to work calmly in a busy environment.
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, WhatsApp Business, digital record‑keeping).
- Emotional intelligence and professionalism.
